Juno reeds are specially made for student performance from select cane grown on the Mediterranean basin. When we turn that cane into reeds, we give them a special cut that's extra responsive for students, so you can improve faster. Once the reeds are precisely cut, each one is sealed in its own humidity balanced Flow Pack where it waits just for you. That way, when you take a Juno reed out of the box, it feels and sounds as fresh as the day it was made.

The perfect strength for you
It's easy to find a Juno reed that feels good to you - and makes you sound good too. If your're just starting out, you may want to choose a 1 1/2 strength reed that's more flexible and easier to play. As you get better, you may find that a stronger 3 strength reed gives you a heavier, fuller sound. With strengths of 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2, and 3 for alto sax, tenor sax and Bb clarinet, you can find a Juno reed that fits your style.
